I look into her pretty green eyes;
she walks down the stairs
into the bright moonlight;
her long blonde hair sways to the side,
my love is so sweet...
You can't deny;
Walk with me slow,
or run with me fast,
we'll lie together in the soft green grass;
whether you stay or whether you go,
You will always be gorgeous with an eloquent glow.
My love is the answer; my love is the key,
Even though I know
you will never be with me!

A little girl was I
lost in the sky,
with unicorns and butterflies
feeling as if I could fly.
But you tore me apart,
took all I had to give-
Scared my heart,
now there's no reason to live,
Barely thirteen,
loving life-
feeling so free,
not seeing the price.
Tears falling from my eyes,
feeling myself torn
screaming no, why, oh why...
my life was now scorned.
In the corner I lie
you see the terror in me-
in a ball, wanting to die;
still you wouldn't set me free.

Seventeen... on my own
Adult or child? Torn between the two,
Heart Screaming,
Make up my mind...
One side longing to be mature, wise
The child is crying for release.
Hard, getting harder
Buckle down, get ready.
Ride of my life;
Heart racing, mine veering into space,
All I have to do, all I want to do...
My life;
Change succeed, in this so called
"Little World"
By: Chase Wimberly
The needle is to skin
As your words are to ears
Leaving them numb and deaf
To the world into tears
The pen is to paper
As your mind is to fear
Creating all the pictures
That the paintbrush is to smear
On the canvas of your heart
That sits on the back wall of your mind
These thoughts you cannot see
Because these thoughts will make you blind
By: Dustin Kerr
Because of you, I got through it all;
You picked me up when I was to fall.
Sitting in the dark feeling alone.
Leaving you wondering how and why it came down to this
Me hitting rock bottom, and wanting to slit my wrist.
But all because of you, and your prayers too
You watched over me like an angel would do
Until you knew that your job was through

Here I sit, look at me.
A casuality of my endless succession
Of needs and desires
Talk a little louder
And the world might hear absurdity
Talk a little sweeter
And they might care.
By: Lindsay Gallemore
She's lost in time, not knowing where to go,
or who she would be. She's afraid to grow up...
run through fields of flowers,
catch the rain drops on her tongue.
Draw a hopscotch game
that's what she calls fun.
To make angels in the snow.
But she's 18, who should be?
Tea parties, and Red Rover
the Duck-duck-goose game,
that's what it's all about,
listen to the sounds of laughter again.
She wants to be free without a care in the world,
snuggle up with Mom and Dad-waking up from a bad dream.
Play with imaginary friends, be a bird soaring through the sky,
She shuts her eyes...
She's lost, afraid, where should she go?
Who should she be...but she's afraid to grow.
Lost forever
In her childhood fantasies.
